At CGFTN, we believe in the truths of the Bible, the power of Jesus’ sacrifice, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. Join us as we explore the foundational beliefs that guide our lives and connect us to a greater purpose in God’s plan.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and unchanging Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation. It is the final authority in all aspects of life and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal and operate in perfect unity.
(1 John 5:7)
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified, died, and rose again for the salvation of humanity. He is seated at the right hand of God, interceding for us.
(Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:35–38)
We believe that salvation is received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and humanity. It is by grace that we are saved and receive eternal life.
(Acts 4:12)
We believe in the resurrection of the dead—both the just and the unjust. Those who are in Christ will be resurrected for eternal life, while the unjust will face eternal separation from God.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13–17, Revelation 21:1–5)
We believe sanctification is an ongoing process that begins at salvation, as the Holy Spirit works in us to transform us into the image of Christ.
(Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19–22)
We believe in water baptism by immersion, which symbolizes our identification with Christ’s death and resurrection.
(Romans 6:4)
We believe ministers are called by God to lead and serve His people. These leaders are gifted with spiritual gifts to equip the church for the work of ministry and to build up the body of Christ.
(Ephesians 4:11)
We believe in establishing leadership within the church through governmental ministries that guide and organize the body of believers. These ministries bring order, direction, and doctrinal teaching to the church.
(Ephesians 3:5)
We believe in apostolic governance as the foundation of the local church. Apostles are appointed by God to provide spiritual oversight.
(Ephesians 4:11)
We believe in the Kingdom of God as a present and future reality. We are called to expand His Kingdom on earth through evangelism and discipleship.
(Matthew 6:10)
We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal, deliver, and work miracles. Through Jesus, we are anointed to bring the power of the Kingdom to the nations and advance God’s purpose on earth.
(Matthew 12:28)
We believe that faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. Through faith, we inherit His promises. Without it, it is impossible to please God.
(Hebrews 11:6)
We believe in the global mission to preach the gospel of the Kingdom, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ locally, nationally, and internationally through all forms of media.
(Matthew 24:14)
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, when He will return gloriously to reign. His Church will be raptured to meet Him. This blessed hope motivates us to live with commitment and expectation.
(1 Thessalonians 4:15–17, Revelation 22:17)
